Salary & Compensation

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $120,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications, background, and experience level. Entry-level data scientists at Amazon typically start at the lower end of this range and progress based on performance evaluations and skill development. • Extract, transform, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources using SQL and Python to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform business strategy
• Develop and validate machine learning models for classification, regression, and clustering tasks, documenting methodology and results for stakeholder review
• Create comprehensive data visualizations and dashboards using tools like Tableau or QuickSight to communicate insights to non-technical business partners
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to understand data quality, completeness, and relationships between variables before model development
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical problems with measurable success metrics
